Power!
say something! (0)
Yo. I've survived today. It felt so great to see that Sri Lanka was tested in today's paper. Maths was a formidable foe, though. I got to attempt the questions two or three times before coming up with the solutions for them. Oh, and the very first question was a direct blow targeted towards me. Not forgetting the polynomial question.
Tomorrow is science practical. Wondering what can a klutz like me can do... not in the sense of whipping up something impressive but ridiculous stuff I can think off. Anyway I'm glad that I'm placed in the chemistry lab. It is because I cannot operate the portable bunsen burner (mini LPG tank) in the physics lab.
Going to be busy tomorrow, since today I've taken my break. Preparing teacher's day gifts. My only first and going to be the last teacher's day celebration to attend in Singapore. Hope the gifts the class thought for them are going to impress them.
Sharing some songs which in normal circumstances, will make me feel alive. Not now though. I'm preparing to sleep.
I'm currently obsessed with Jun Matsumoto's role in Gokusen. He's somewhat reminding me of Tamaki Hiroshi.
Lalala.
Maybe a little bit of revision.
I hope it's not going to be determining focal length of a converging lens tomorrow. I also don't want those "concentration" practicals to come out.
Sleep.

How to test anions:
- Carbonate: Add dilute acid, bubble the gas through (a little bit) of limewater.
- Chloride: Add silver/lead nitrate, will form white precipitate.
- Sulphate: Add barium nitrate, will form white precipitate.
- Nitrate: Add sodium hydroxide and aluminium foil/powder. Warm. Ammonia gas will be produced.
Chloride turns blue litmus white. Ammonia turns red litmus blue.
For physics graph, take note of:
- Title (Graph of y cm axis against x cm axis)
- Scale (underline it):
- y cm axis: 2cm to 1cm
- x cm axis: 2cm to 1cm
- Label the axes on the graph.
- Don't plot the points with cross.
- If you are asked to extend the graph, extend normally.
- For tangent and showing the corresponding value of some axis, draw dotted lines.
I hope it's not going to be determining focal length of a converging lens tomorrow. I also don't want those "concentration" practicals to come out.
Sleep.

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing

I hope it's not too late to post Agustina's birthday pictures! Anyway it's only last Friday. Thanks Vanessa and Tania for the pictures. :)

Addicted to this song! You should really listen to it and check out the lyric. I feel at ease now although throughout the weekend, art is killing me. Burnt the midnight oil yesterday to finish a kiddy-like watercolour painting (I realise it's really not my thing). Skipped recess and lunchtime in order to sketch the compositions and touch up the development section. At 2.30PM (delayed to 2.45PM), the damned art paper started! 3 hours flew past as I ignored my hunger, sleepiness, fatigue, my mind was only programmed to draw and paint. Sadly, I did not manage to finish the drawing. Not even half if I didn't grab the biggest brush I have with me and painted the roads messily in the last 15 minutes. Oh well, just hope for the best to come.
Prelims in one week! Sometimes I'm annoyed that each teacher seems to be thinking that their subjects are the most important (even Lee JY!). It makes students confused as they don't know which one to prioritise/which to study first. Which is my case, I don't know whether I should practise my shitty English or reading SS textbook. Speak of the devil, I don't like Mrs Ess for only testing sec 3 topics for prelims. True that I've got to study less stuff. However, how would we range our marks with all the topics tested? Gah.
Damn, my life feels so different now. I am waking up later and later day by day. I've not managed to sneak a book to be finished in my to-do-list ever since Breaking Dawn. I don't learn anything from some lessons as those teachers are only wasting everybody's time by nagging, or comparing our progress with other classes, that leaves me with mounts of gold (free time) right in front my eyes but if I try to grab it, I'd ignite the anger of some furious monster (teacher banged my table).
School policy may seems so ridiculous. Like today, at 8th period Mrs Quek ought to leave for a meeting, she left the class with a task and promised to be back. Then, Mr Prem and Mr Izsal passed by and instructed us to the hall, where the rest of the school but sec 4 pupils are having assembly. Oh, great. Walked inside and squatted down on the hall's floor for a second, for the next second Mrs Quek's meeting was over. Then the bell rang when we reached class. Hahaha.
My shoulder's kinda stiff. My cough has not healed yet since last week, at least it's much better. And there's a bruise on my right knee from nowhere! Sigh. Gotta go, and studaaaaaaaaaayyyy!

It's Indonesia's national day anyway. Fancy waking up at 8AM while I bet my siblings back home got to report to school at 6AM or the latest 6.30AM to attend flag raising ceremony and reciting the proclamation speech etc on Sunday, the only weekend day they have. Tsk tsk.
